IDEAL

For IDEAL, the latest stage program by spoken word artist Lisa Christ, we developed a visual identity that toys with hyper-feminine aesthetics and pop-cultural clichés. The program questions contemporary ideals — what we admire, embody, and should leave behind.

We staged an exaggerated portrait of Lisa: somewhere between commercial fantasy and subversive self-staging. The visuals flirt with the language of mainstream glamour while quietly pulling it apart.

A custom typeface anchors the identity. Inspired by the unapologetic wordmarks of early-2000s fast fashion, it’s playful, loud, and deliberately too much — reflecting the program’s interrogation of ideals as both commodity and construct.

The new website extends this attitude: bold, bright, and impossible to ignore.
